Men deserve equal safety and justice
The film is produced under the banners of C.R. Films and Sunil Aggarwal Films. This eye opening drama features Gaurav Singh, Garima Singh and Aayushi Tiwari in lead roles. They are supported by Somi Shree, Deepanshi, and Rishabh Sharma in pivotal roles. The film has been shot extensively in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
Producer (Advocate) Sunil Kumar Aggarwal shared, “Through this film we hope to give voice to the pain and struggles of men who face harassment but often remain unheard.” He further added that just as women have laws protecting them from abuse, there should be legal provisions ensuring men’s protection as well.
“If a man is harassed by a woman, he should also have the right to file a complaint. Our society needs to acknowledge that men deserve equal safety and justice,” Aggarwal stated.
Aggarwal further added, “Men can face physical and emotional exploitation in ways that are often overlooked or minimized. Physically, they may be pressured into dangerous labor, military service, or high-risk jobs under the assumption that they are naturally resilient or expendable.” Emotionally, societal norms often discourage men from expressing vulnerability. This further leads to suppressed feelings, isolation, and untreated mental health struggles. Expectations to be stoic providers or protectors can create immense psychological strain, especially when they face financial hardship or relationship challenges. “These pressures are compounded by limited support systems and stigmas around seeking help. This has left many men to silently endure emotional burdens that deserve recognition and compassion,” he justified.
With its bold narrative and socially relevant theme, Hi Zindagi is poised to spark important conversations when it releases this November.
